Technology & Governance

This “law and technology” and “advanced administrative law” topic focuses on the relation between technology and governance. Topics include: how, and by whom, technology should be regulated; the use of technology to regulate behavior; the government's use of technology to make decisions; and the translation of law into technological forms. This topic will be coordinated with a spring topic symposium hosted by the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology and the Berkeley Technology Law Journal, entitled “Translating Between Law and Technology.”
