House Internet Law Library

The Internet Law Library (formerly the U.S. House of Representatives Internet Law Library) was originally provided to the public courtesy of the Office of the Law Revision Counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives. This was part of the Counsel’s mission to make the law available to the public. The site provided links to a large number of legal resources
relating to American (federal and state) and foreign laws.

Many of the documents referenced by the Library reside on servers outside the control of the House of Representatives. We therefore make no guarantees or warranties as to the accuracy or the timeliness of the data. On the other hand, we have not deliberately included any inaccurate data in our directories.

The Internet Law Library was originally provided to the public courtesy of the United States House of Representatives Law Revision Counsel Office. Part of the Counsel’s mission is to make the law (particularly the U.S. Code) available to the public. When the U.S. House of Representatives discontinued hosting the Library, other sites were allowed to carry it.
